#Mauritius - Doing The Expat Thing

Gnocchi with Tomato and Veggies

Ingredients (according to your family size, I cooked for 4 people)

1 packet Gnocchi

1 packet of bacon bits

1 tin of tomatoes

2 big baby marrows, chopped roughly

1 large onion, peeled and chopped

1 smallish pepper

1 packet of tomato paste

a dash of sugar

herbs, salt, pepper and garlic



Fry the onion, bacon, pepper, and marrows until soft

Pour in the tin of tomato

Add tomato paste, herbs, salt pepper and dash of sugar

In the meantime, cook the gnocchi according to the instructions on the packet, if you don’t understand the language it cooks for about two minutes in boiling water with some added salt ;P
