Morning Thoughts – Curiosity killed the cat
Drinking my coffee this morning I was watching our two beautiful but extremely busy little kitties. Watching how they play, interact, stick their noses into just about everything. Always exploring, curious about everything in their path.
It made me wonder. Are you still curious? Am I still curious? I would like to think that I am. I am constantly on a quest to learn something new. A quest for more information, new experiences, new friends, new acquaintances, new adventures. I live my life in pursuit of learning more each day as it is something that no one can take away from me. KNOWLEDGE is power, it needn’t be a diploma or degree but learning is ALL!
Thinking this I was suddenly reminded of the saying ‘Curiosity killed the cat’ and it made me giggle being grateful I am human and not a cat. Our little one fell off the roof a while ago due to that same curious nature that often makes us either burst into laughter or shout from despair as the two rocket throughout the house following their curiosity investigating all things alike with NO RESERVATIONS NOR FEAR.
Let’s be like cats…..be curious about life. Try all things and treasure the good that comes from that. I’m a great believer in ‘if I can read it, I can do it’.
Be Curious. Live life. Investigate new opportunities or new ventures. Start a new course. Learn a new language. Read a new book. Keep the curiosity alive. Don’t let life pass you by without being curious about what’s on offer and what is around the next corner.
Have a beautiful day
